Joseph Owusu Fordjour spoke exclusively to Zionfelix of the United Kingdom about his anticipation of Medikal’s Indigo at the O2 headline performance. In his statement, he emphasized the importance of Ghanaians rallying behind one another, and he went on to say that Ghanaians are capable of much more in the global music industry than Nigerians.
Mr. Owusu Fordjour explained his decision to spend GH¢15,000 on tickets to Medikal’s performance by saying that he wanted multiple fans to be present at the concert to see history being made. Medikal is fantastic. His tunes are always on repeat for me. After hearing that Nigerians had been selling out the O2, he expressed his hope that a Ghanaian would visit the UK and do the same. On the other hand, on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Indigo at The O2, the renowned Ghanaian rapper Medikal will play a sold-out show in the UK.
