Jorge Vilda Rodrguez is a Spanish football coach with a UEFA Pro Licence born on the 7 July 1981. Since 2015, he has served as the women’s national team of Spain’s head coach until he was withdrawn from his position after helping the team win their first ever trophy. Vilda is the women’s national team program’s sporting director for the Spanish FA (RFEF) as well as a tactical intructure at the National Coaching School.

Before an injury forced him into coaching, Vilda was a young, gifted player. He joined the national women’s youth football teams, where he was trusted to guide the group of players they thought would be the best in Spain in the future.

Before succeeding his father, Angel Vilda, as head coach of the U19 squad, he served as the coach of the under-17 women’s team. He received a promotion to head the senior side in 2015.

In 2023 World Cup after some controversies he was again given the mandate to lead the team after some senior players opted out because he was the coach. He took a very young team and they made him proud by winning the World Cup in Australia.
