Kenny Pickett is a professional American football quarterback who plays for the National Football League (NFL) side, Pittsburgh Steelers. Kenny was born on June 6, 1998, in Oakhurst, New Jersey.

At the University of Pittsburgh, where he played college football, Kenny Pickett set numerous school records, including those for career throwing yards (12,303), career passing touchdowns (81), and single-season passing touchdowns (42). In 2021, he was also recognized as the ACC Player of the Year.

The Steelers selected Pickett in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 20th overall. He began his debut season as the backup quarterback, but when the Steelers dropped their first two contests, he was promoted to the starting position.

In his debut season, Pickett displayed glimmers of his promise. In 13 games, he completed 1,789 passes for 8 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. Additionally, he helped the Steelers defeat the Cleveland Browns in their regular-season finale.
